What VisitCuba.info could run

When someone asks an AI assistant where to stay in Cuba, what to book and how to get there, the answer is assembled from sources it can read and trust. VisitCuba.info says Cuba and nothing else, and it can carry the verified information those assistants look for.

Plan the whole trip

A family asks for a week in Cuba. The concierge agent briefs hotel, itinerary, flights and transfers agents together and returns one plan.

Find the right stay

The hotel agent compares partner hotels by area, party and budget. The traveller books direct with the property.

Fit the flights

The flights agent finds routes and timings that suit the trip and sends the traveller to the airline's own booking route.

Arrive without friction

The transfers agent plans the journey from the airport to the hotel and onward, so the trip works from the moment of arrival.

What the FCDO currently says

The FCDO advises against all but essential travel to Cuba. Its advice, last updated on 25 September 2026, describes a worsening economic situation with shortages of fuel, electricity, water and basic necessities, which it says is affecting tourism services and disrupting travel within the country.

The FCDO adds that the situation has led to frequent protests. To date most have remained peaceful, but it warns they can escalate and advises staying away from large gatherings, monitoring the media and following local authorities. It also reports an increase in opportunistic crime, although levels remain lower than in the UK.

Power, fuel and flights

According to the FCDO, the national electricity grid has collapsed a number of times in recent months and further collapses are likely. Low fuel reserves are causing sustained disruption to transport, medical care, communications, water supply and street lighting, and fuel rationing has been introduced.

The FCDO also says Cuban authorities have announced that all international airports are without aviation fuel, and that only Terminal 3 at José Martí International Airport is operating. It lists Air France, Iberia, World2Fly, LATAM and all Canadian airlines among carriers that have suspended flights, and says options for leaving the country could reduce further. Airline and tour operator messaging is the place to check routes.

Why VisitCuba.info matters

VisitCuba.info holds the Cuba name in the Visit portfolio but publishes only what official sources support. While the FCDO advises against all but essential travel, the page reports that advice and the entry rules, and does not market the island. Partners can use it to keep verified information in one place and decide when and how to promote.

The same place is also held as VisitCuba.travel, so a partner can secure the whole set. VisitCuba.info sits alongside VisitPuertoRico.co.uk, VisitJamaica.info, VisitTorino.co.uk and VisitStBarts.co.uk in our visit and destination names, a group of 225 names.

Other travel names we hold include VisitAndalusia.co.uk, VisitHouston.co.uk, VisitBritishVirginIslands.co.uk, VisitPositano.co.uk and VisitCourmayeur.co.uk. You can browse them all in the portfolio, read how leasing works, or contact us to talk through VisitCuba.info.
